Moses the Raven and Sugar Candy Mountain are important concepts in the novel what do they represent and why is this an important issue in the novel?
Yes, i think Moses the Raven and Sugar Candy Mountain are important concepts in the book because it gets you thinking about what the animals think in their minds relating to what is going to happen to them in the afterlife. Sugar Candy Mountain is the animal’s equivalent of heaven. Moses is much like a phrophet of sugar candy mountain much like a priest. It is an issue in the novel because it raises the issue of religen between between the animals. Religen is an interesting issue, it provides people with a centre or something to turn to in times of grave needs, such as towards the end of the book, how the animals are takign advantage of.

The animals ask a number of questions about the possibility of a rebellion – what are they and how do they connect to real life revolutions?
I think that the questions that the animals ask relate to real life revolutions because the animals are asking what would happen to them after the revolution and if they should do anything to contribute to it. ‘Why should we care about what happens to us after we’re dead?’ ‘If this rebellion is to happen anyway, what difference, does it make it different if we work or not?’ ‘Will there still be sugar after the rebellion?’ ‘Would I still be able to wear ribbins in my hair?’ They question the point in existance if they are more privledged in the after life.

They love eachother. =) awww. Sam, Morgan, Clancy & Madi are rangas! Need I say more!. Alicija is too but shes ok. Dylan is the most gorgeous little boy that lived, he is my little possum!. Stacey is a good girl she is sweet and nice and smart! Lil Maddie is small therefore I love her. Christian and Shannon are twins and I love them because they are special.
