Chapter Summaries♥

Chapter 1

Old Major got all the animals on the farm to gather into the farm for a speech about his thoughts of rebellion.
All the animals on the farm were introduced to the reader.
Major introduces the song ‘Beasts Of England’ which is later sung by all the animals.

Chapter 2

Old Major dies peacefully in his sleep
The pigs begin teaching and orginizing the animals for the rebellion.
The pigs elaborate Old Major’s ideas by introducing animalism.
Moses the raven tells the animals about sugarcandy mountain

Chapter 3

The Animals start harvesting the hay under the pigs supervision.
Boxer starts getting up early and doing vollunteer work
The pigs assign no work on Sunday
The seven commandments are shortened to ‘ FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BAD’
The animals discover that the missing milk had actually gone into the pigs mash.

Chapter 4

News about the takeover of Animal Farm is spread around town.
Mr. Pilkington of Foxwood and Mr. Frederick of Pinchfeild are introduced. They are described as hating eachother and that they would never co-operate. They are worried about the animals rebellion.
The first war took place and the animals won, this war was then called ‘The Battle Of The Cowshed’
Boxer thought he had killed a person after kicking them with his hoof during the war.

- "War is war. The only good human is a dead one” PAGE 28

Thanks for referencing the source of your summaries. You may want to try your own for a few of the chapters as I think this helps focus one's mind on the writing. Good choice of quotes and I like your titles.
